Our team is comprised of professionals from across Saskatchewan with experience in agriculture, construction, property management, income properties, accounting and most importantly real estate valuation. Our Appraisers are licensed by the Appraisal Institute of Canada and hold the AACI, P.App and CRA, P.App designations.

Our experienced appraisal team is comprised of University trained, licensed members of the Appraisal Institute of Canada (AIC).

AACI, P.App (Accredited Appraiser Canadian Institute, Professional Appraiser)

AACI, P.App designated appraisers complete appraisal and consulting work on all forms of real estate including residential, commercial, agricultural. The AACI designation requires an undergraduate degree, 15 real estate courses through the University of British Columbia, completion of a guided commercial or agricultural case study, two years in the Applied Experience Program and completion of both a written examination and oral interview. CRA, P.App (Canadian Residential Appraiser)

CRA, P.App designated appraisers complete appraisal and consulting work on residential real estate including single family, condominiums, acreages and multi-family properties up to 4 units. The CRA, P.App designation requires an undergraduate degree, up to seven courses from AIC’s Program of Professional Studies, completion of a residential guided case study, one year in the Applied Experience Program, and completion of both a written examination and oral interview. David FortierDavid A. Fortier | AACI, P.App, Bcomm (Dist.) | Owner, President, Senior Appraiser

David Fortier is originally from the Edam area, raised on a beef, bison and grain farm. David draws upon his construction background, his agricultural background, his ownership and management of apartment and commercial rental properties, and a background in statistics and real estate through his University training. David has diplomas in Appraisal and Assessment and Advanced Business Administration (both with Honors) from Lakeland College, a Certificate in Real Property Assessment from the University of British Columbia, and a Bachelor of Commerce Degree (with Distinction) from Athabasca University. David has been an Appraisal Institute of Canada member since 2009. David is experienced in the appraisal of agricultural, commercial, and residential properties across Saskatchewan. Alex ScheidtAlex Scheidt | CRA, P.App, Bcomm | Senior Appraiser

Alex Scheidt grew up in the Luseland-Kindersley, SK area where her family operated a grain farm. Alex draws on a background in agriculture and a strong understanding of business, economics and real estate through her University training. Alex has a diploma in Appraisal and Assessment from Lakeland College, Certificate in Real Property Assessment from the University of British Columbia, and a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from Athabasca University. Alex has been an Appraisal Institute of Canada member since 2012. Alex is experienced in the valuation of residential, recreational, and acreage type properties and works alongside David Fortier in completing agricultural and commercial properties across western Saskatchewan. Alex Scheidt-CV


Richard Murray

Richard Murray | Research Manager

Richard Murray works out of our North Battleford head office. Richard grew up on a farm outside of Denholm, SK. He attended the University of Saskatchewan and was awarded a School of Agriculture Diploma in 1990. He actively grain farmed and raised cattle until joining the appraisal field in the 1990s. Richard has been instrumental in the development and maintenance of our residential, commercial and agricultural databases. Richard Murrary-CV
